Multiple award-winning artist Samini A.K.A Emmanuel Andrews Samini has put out statement concerning the credibility of Bass Awards.
As part of promotion for his annual event Saminifest 2015, the self-acclaimed African dancehall king stopped at Pluzz FM for an interview for his upcoming event. When asked about his participation in Bass awards 2015, he clearly stated that he is not willing to be part of it due to lack credibility of the platform.
“Bass awards is not a credible platform. I don't see myself being part of it," he said.
He also touched on the presidency of MUSIGA; he said president Obour must step down for a younger person to take charge not an older generation.
Saminifest 2015 concert is slated for 5th December 2015 at Trade Fair meanwhile Samini will be holding a corporate launch of his upcoming album “Breaking News” at +233 jazz bar on the 3rd of December.
