I will forever miss Nkomode - Akrobeto

Ace Ghanaian comedian Yaw Donkor popularly known as Nkomode has passed away.

The comedian has been bedridden as he battles with kidney problems and bladder failure due to excessive drinking. His bladder problem is so bad that he urinates more than 15 times a day according to reports.

His confidant Akwasi Boadu, known as Akrobeto, confirmed his demise on Ashh FM in Kumasi.

He disclosed that Nkomode passed on at the Tema General Hospital on Friday afternoon.

Akrobeto told Ashh FM that, he's really lost a great brother. ''I will forever miss my brother Nkomode, in fact, he was really a great man in the showbiz industry.'' Adding that, the film industry has lost a great man.

According to Akrobeto, the arrangement of the burial service and one-week observation will soon be announced by the deceased family.

The sad Akrobeto told Ashh FM that the demise of his friend Nkomode is a shock to him, but he leaves everything to the almighty; 'I will forever miss my brother.'

Nkomode was earlier admitted to the Korle-Bu Hospital in Accra.

A source close to us indicates that Nkomode left two children with different women in Kumasi.
