Kaakie and MzVee
After ‘MTN Pulse Turn Up’ concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 4 2016, the ‘Dancehall Queen’ saga keeps rolling as to which of the two female stars deserve the crown.
Entertainment critics who took turn to watch the performances of Kaakie and MzVee have finally acclaimed on Happy FM Showbiz Extra that MzVee stands among her peers in the dancehall category.
Meanwhile MzVee has refuted speculations that she is battling her industry colleague Kaakie for the title of ‘Dancehall Queen’ in Ghana.
According to the sultry singer, her fans rate her as the ‘Queen of Dancehall’ music in Ghana and is enjoying the fun that comes with it.
Kaakie whilst performing at the ‘MTN Pulse Turn Up’ asked the crowd who the queen of dancehall in Ghana is because she has heard that a certain ‘little girl’ “Wan take the spot.”
The crowd did not mince no words than to shout “Kaakie, Kaakie”, much to her admiration.
Her comments, considering the fact that MzVee had also professed to be the ‘Dancehall Queen’ during her performance at the same event, has fueled speculations that there seems to be a tussle between the duo for supremacy.
But the ‘Natural Girl’ singer, MzVee, in an interview with Hitz@1 said she doesn’t believe there is a fight between them.

Silky Lady
MzVee has been significant and active with her dancehall career. She has good hits but Kaakie should hype her game. MzVee’s performance was better than Kaakie at the MTN Pulse Concert.

On the eve of the MTN Pulse Concert MzVee carried the day with her good performance than Kaakie. The Female Dancehall singer and a member of the High Grade Family has not proven beyond doubt and she has been out of the game for sometime now and this makes MzVee the reigning Dancehall Queen.
She is cute, vocally good and her stagecraft is always on point. As a performer, you must look good and trim and that’s what MzVee has over Kaakie. Vocally, they are all good, but MzVee’s physique aids her better in music.

MzVee’s performance at the recent MTN Pulse Concert was well coordinated and on point than Kaakie. However Kaakie’s performance on stage was not well in line as it was planned to be a ‘Personal Battle’ against MzVee. The lighting of the cigar on stage by Kaakie was not well understood by many but relatively Kaakie has got good Dancehall songs that can make her dominate for long just as MzVee.

If we are talking about Dacehall music no doubt Kaakie is rated first. MzVee has everything going for her right now, not to say Kaakie is not good but MzVee is doing great with the dancehall due to Kaakie’s setbacks like her schooling and not getting gigs. Kaakie is even doing better than most of the acclaimed female dancehall artistes who perform often.
Amongst the two, the only one who comes close to having the dancehall attitude and swagger is Kaakie.
