Ghana Traditional Gospel Musician Nicolas Omane Acheampong has hit hard on his colleague musician Brother Sammy for chasing fame instead of knowledge.

Omane Acheampong disclosed that section of the gospel musicians doesn’t understand the concept of gospel as a music genre.

He called on upcoming musicians who want to join that genre of music to understand and have knowledge about gospel music.

His comment comes days after gospel musician Bro. Sammy was reported in the media that he faked his accident which happened weeks ago.

FIPAG PR and Welfare Officer, Michael Kwaku Ola accused Brother Sammy of faking his accident which was said to have happened on Sefwi Asawinso in the Western Region to promote his upcoming tour dubbed "Aseda Tour’’.

Commenting further in an interview with Busumuru Sean Kinston of SeanCitygh.com, Nicolas Omane Acheampong stated that, this publicity prank may happen to a gospel musician who doesn't know the meaning of the gospel music.

"If anyone wants to be famous by singing a gospel music, Jesus is already famous than anyone else on earth so the person has already failed with his or her vision.’’ He noted

"For lack of knowledge my people perish, I can only advice him to seek for knowledge instead of fame, because fame without wisdom is baseless’’

Adding that, Fame does not give knowledge, but knowledge can always give birth to fame.

The Aposor Hit maker therefore, called on Bro. Sammy to have the mentality of knowledge instead of chasing fame around.
