Bishop Daniel Obinim
Leader and founder of the International God’s way Church Bishop Daniel Obinim, has struck out against stereotyped thinking which consider being fashionable a sin that people who proclaim to be Christians must avoid.
He told Kasapas’ Gatuso on Kasapa 102.3 in an interview that he is aware that people seem worried about his style but to answer them, he will say, he is fashionable for God.
“I have been blessed so why do I want to look tattered, I need to let people know that my God has been good to me, hence my fashion sense. Whatever I wear, I wear to glorify God. I am fashionable for him,” he said.
As to how he gets his outfits together since he comes across as someone with a tight schedule, he answered; “most of the are things I wear are recommend to me, example if the person is outside Ghana and sees an outfit that will look good on me, what he does is to take a picture and send it to me and if I like it, I will make the order or the person does.”
Bishop Obinim’s church was founded in the year 2000, it has over 13 branches. Daniel Obinim is married to gospel singer Florence Obinim.
