Okyeame Kwame aka Rap Docta is calling to order people attributing the illness of his young brother and member of Bradez, Kunta Kinte to his love for sex.
“Sex cannot be the reason for my brother’s health, rather the negligence of a health staff at the Legon Hospital,” he said.
Narrating his version as told by the brother in an exclusive interview with Livefmghana.com, the Hepatitis B ambassador said; “He was sick whiles in school. They had just released their hit song, ‘Simple’. Brown, a friend of his took him to the Legon Clinic inside the school.
“The people in the queue at the clinic allowed him to jump the queue because they realized how serious his condition was. But the nurse refused to let him in and instructed that he goes back and re-joins the queue.”
Having no option, he did as the nurse instructed. According to Okyeame Kwame; “When he went to see the doctor finally, she just looked at his face and said it was common malaria.
“So she gave him drugs without any laboratory test. He went home, took the drugs and slept. When he woke up, he was so weak and couldn’t do anything. Shortly, he was rushed to a hospital,” he said.
“Kunta was then a Level 200 student at the School of Performing Arts, Legon,” he added.
