Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has expressed gratitude to organizers of Ghana Kids Choice Awards and all the kids who voted him as Favorite Dancehall Icon at this year’s edition.
In a Facebook post, Shatta Wale appreciated the honor bestowed on him by the kids.
“Wow! Even The Kidz Voted Me As The Best Dancehall Icon Of The Year @ Kidz Choice Awards Aww. I Appreciate This One. Thanks To The Organizers And Whoever Made this Possible. The Dream is On…” he posted.
The second edition of Kids Choice Awards was held last Friday at the National Theatre.
Kids from selected schools across the country nominated their favorite celebrities after which the coordinators of the event went back to the schools for a paper vote to finally select the winners for the various awards.
