Nigeria actor/musician Eze claims Ghanaian music has lost its relevance.

According to him, Hiplife is an original genre Ghanaians artistes can boast of and urged them to return to it.

“Isn’t it true people, Ghana music is DEAD, gone are those days when we had music in Ghana. The only way we can resuscitate music in Ghana is to go back to the origin. We started with Hiplife…. I personally invested and I fell in love with Hiplife…. suddenly the whole thing changed, we move to crank, from crank to dancehall, from dancehall to what… so what happened to our hiplife? Where did you bury it, I want to exonerate it, I want us to look at that.”

He therefore expressed his displeasure on why Ghanaians artistes take delight in throwing lyrical jabs at each other instead of being focused with their career.

“Last time I came to Ghana and I realized they were all (Ghanaian Musicians) beefing themselves and I started laughing and said these guys are JOKERS… You are all JOKERS (Ghanaian Musicians).”

Eze known in real life Jonathan Eze Nwadinobi recently released another single titled ‘Gbera’.

Ghana Based Nigeria Musician Eze who has been in the Ghanaian music industry for over 12 years featured Nigerian singer, composer and performer Dammy Krane on his new single.
