Nigerian-born Afro-R&B singer Olawale Ashimi widely known as Brymo at a press briefing told entertainment writers gathered how his girlfriend confessed crushing on M.anifest to him.
“Sometime in January 2015, I was watching TV with my woman and we saw a video of M.anifest and she said I like this guy. The way he dresses, he’s so African and original,” he said.
Apparently his woman’s confession paved the gate way for his collaboration with Ghana’s “godMC” famed rapper, M.anifest.
“The Fe Mi” hit maker added that his collaboration with M.anifest was needed at that time because he had to prove his critics wrong.
“I feel like at that point in time I was considering to do one collaboration to get people of my back, saying you don’t collaborate. I wanted to do just one to get back in that loop”.
