Many young singles ladies who are not happy in their current relationships see Valentine as an opportunity to punish their partner, and go in search of new relationships or go on dates with someone new on this day. Some end up messing up with strangers. Truth be told, women easily cheat when they are not happy in their current relationship. But if you have to cheat on your partner because you are not happy then it's better you leave him.

Cheating is the behaviour of cheap people, if you are truly worthy yet your partner is not giving you the needed attention or value, the best you can do is to leave. There is nothing wrong if you choose to leave on a Valentine day, but there is everything wrong when you agree to stay yet decide to cheat on your partner on this day.

Don't let the behaviour or inaction of people change you into a bad person or who you are not. The bible says "You are the world’s light—a city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father" - Matthew 5:14-16 (TLB).

Stand for what is good, what is godly, what is right; not what is convincing, not what is easy, and not what is cheap. If you think your relationship needs to be worked at rather than leaving, please sit down with your partner on this day and talk things through, instead of wishing things become better; for you don't get what you wish for rather what you work for.

On the other hand, if you have to let go, please do so with joy, let go the pains and what hurt you; stop thinking of the past for there is nothing you can do or change about the history. Hold on to God and trust Him with your life, your love story. Build yourself up. Learn to put your insecurities to sleep and always remind yourself you are worthy.

When you learn to do this, it won't be long before someone comes around; someone who will motivate you, who wants the best for you, who brings out the best in you. Someone who will love you so right, with all your flaws. And all your broken pieces will fit back together like you were never broken.

And when it's time for you to meet that special person, there is nothing on earth that can stop it or prevent you from meeting, not even your location. Until then keep smiles on your face, it doesn't mean your life is perfect, it just means you appreciate the work God is doing in your life and how blessed you are.

On a day like valentine, love is not what someone tells you or what you hear but how someone makes you feel. The one who truly loves you knows you are not perfect yet treats you as if you are.

In conclusion "Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him" - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (TLB).
