Nice poem Gombila, but for me, the idea of "use to be this, use to be that is empty" We are talking about now and future others are lagging and boasting of their yesterday.

actually we don't know anything about our history, we choose to teach kids religious studies instead of teaching them the true african HISTORY including the history of the whiteman stealing black egyptian spiritual system and putting it into writing call bible. changing the SUN worship to SON worship etc...., stealing egyptian 42 negative confessions and making it 10 commandments etc..
we even do the worse thing, telling our kids the whiteman is more intelligent. our problem is having brainwashed people ascending the throne of prosidency who can't think outside religious books no wonder the whole black race is recolonised with the bible and quran .
i remember learning in jss about colonial governors like Allan Burns Gorden Guggisburg etc, their achievements blablabla but i was never taught the fact that our forefathers were put in shackles, burned with hot metals, starved and shipped abroad to work for the whiteman till death.
certainly if africans knew christianity was copied from africa and islam later faked by arabs we would have worked harder to develop our continent and stop praying and crying to a nonexistent whiteman's fake god/allah to rescue us from problems we can solve with our brains and hands. it pains me there's no leadership in africa!!

"Negro"? Mental slavery or what! We are Africans and black-people, not negroes.
