... Poorly Patronised In Nigeria & Other Neighbouring Countries
A recent survey has confirmed the Ghanaian music is fast loosing its quality, popularity and patronage in Africa especially in Nigeria and other neighbouring countries.

The survey proved that the situation is so because most Ghanaian musicians are no more being creative due to the emergence of computerised rhythms. It was also established that the over reliance of most musicians on this computerised rhythms especially for highlife is making Ghanaian music sound so foreign.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Precise Music Company, Mr John Agbenu expressed the worry at a press briefing on a West African Praise Concert to be held in Accra. The concern jointly being organised by Ghanaian and Nigerian Music Producers are aimed at tapping new music talents in both countries for promotion.

Mr. Agbenu said it said that Ghana popularly known for its rich highlife rhythms has now loss that potency.

He advised Ghanaian musicians to stop the over reliance on computer rhythms and help revive the rich Ghanaian rhythms by being creative.
