Self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has said he will not collaborate with just any Dancehall artiste in Ghana because most of them do not understand the dancehall business.
The ‘taking over’ hitmaker who has always ‘fought’ for the growth of the Ghana Music industry although sometimes not through the conventional way of doing things disclosed this decision in a post on his Facebook timeline on Wednesday.
He said:” I won’t collaborate with just any dancehall artiste in Ghana until they respect the Dancehall business…#bigmantingfam”.
Meanwhile, some music critics have said the Self acclaimed Dancehall King himself does not produce Dancehall songs but rather hiplife songs.
They argue his tunes and content (lyric) does not depict what Dancehall truly is.
