The Omanhene was at the Bakatue festival which is festival that is used to mark the beginning of the fishing season in Elmina.

Shatta Wale's 'Talking Over' song is one that Ghanaians have really enjoyed in the year under review, however, little did anybody know that even royals do love it.

A Chief in Elmina in the Central Region has taken Royalty to a whole new level by showcasing some eye-catching dance moves as he jams to the song.

In a video circulating on social media, the Omanhene of the traditional area looks overjoyed as he's carried in a palanquin as part of the Bakatue festival celebrations.

The Batatue festival has been the longstanding festival of the chiefs and people of Elmina, going as far back as 1847 when it was first celebrated.

The festival, which is now celebrated on the first Tuesday of every July, sees the chiefs and people of Elmina gather to make merry as well as to mark the beginning of the fishing season.

But what really caught the attention of many in this year's celebration was the spectacle of the Omanhene of Elmina dancing to Shatta Wale's 'taking over' banger.

Clad in an all-white attire the Chief swings his hands and nods his head as the song is played in the background, with his constituents cheering and singing along.

Shatta Wale might be taking over, but somewhere in Elmina, another chief is actually staging his own 'take over" with the hit song.
