Sensational radio presenter, Lindsford Kwabena Asare, popularly known as “Otwinoko” threw listeners of his program, Hw3 Yie on Abusua FM into a state of shock when he described a staff of Multimedia’s Nhyira FM as a traitor.

According to Otwinoko, he has never made any job offer to Nhyira FM’s Nana Brenya as part of his bid to work with the later on another radio station.

Nhyira FM is a Kumasi based radio station and a subsidiary of the Multimedia Ghana Limited (MGL).

Otwinoko also reveals, it is never true that Nana Brenya was the one taking care of him while he was on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and after he was discharged whne he was battling multiple health challenges.

The revered host of social program was speaking on his Hw3 Yie program on Abusua FM in Kumasi on Tuesday night in reaction to an audio circulating on social media platform, WhatsApp.

Nana Brenya recorded the audio, full of insults and unprintable words, and sent it to a video blogger in the United Kingdom known as Yaa Tiwah.

In the said audio recording, Nana Brenya, who voluntarily sent the audio to Otwinoko was heard bragging about his lavish lifestyle in Kumasi.

Nana Brenya claimed his eight year old child is chauffeured to and from school in a brand new Toyota Venza adding, he has countless number of LCD Plasma television sets fixed randomly in his living room at home.

He also boasted of how Otwinoko has tried severally to lure him from Nhyira FM to another radio station and that he has variously refused.

But Otwinoko has denied ever engaging the service of Nana Brenya.

On the contrary, he accused his former colleagues Nyhira FM of contributing to his health struggles over the years and predicament working as a broadcaster.

He said some of them plotted fetish priests against him. “They practiced occultism when I used to work with them.”

“These are people I single handedly picked and brought into radio work. I catered for them and personally paid their salaries for over two years until the stations decided to formalise their status as regular workers.”

“I even paid their school fees, I paid their house rents, I bought boxer shorts and singlet for them, I did everything including food” he added.
