Rapper and Songwriter, Elias Ewusi Essel known as Donzy, has revealed how his collaboration with Kofi Kinaata on the hit song, “The Crusade’’ has been a blessing to him.
In an answer to a question posed to him by Rainbow FM’s Sokoo Hemaa Kukua on how much he earned from the song said, it was not all about the money because it comes with a lot of things, he acknowledged the exposure and a lot of other benefits he has enjoyed from the collaboration.
According to him, the number of shows he performed before the song was released, could not be compared to the ones he got after the song became a hit.
“It brought positivity into my life but I will say I got a lot of money. It was part of the process so if you are talking about money, I will say that, it was okay because I shot videos and did one or two things,’’ he said.
