'I rejected $250k recording deal'- Rison

US-based Ghanaian musician, Anthony Rison popularly known as Rison has stated that he laughed off a recent recording deal.

In an interview with Showbizpundit.com, Rison said that artistes have the capability to do more with or without a record deal and in his opinion record labels are overrated.

“Don’t get me wrong, it can be great to have a major record label but as an artiste, you shouldn’t wait for them before you act and one can accomplish more business deals without being signed to a major label ”…he stated

As juicy as a $250K record label may sound to any artiste, Rison said he simply gave the label a good laugh without further negotiations.
