Radio/TV host, AJ Sarpong
The 19th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) red carpet will be hosted by Radio/TV personality, AJ Sarpong and TV3's Johnnie Hughes according to organizers of the event.
The two are expected to take charge of the events red carpet on the night, grilling celebrities about their outfits which is expected to begin at 7:00 pm and air exclusively on TV3 on April 14..
The event scheduled for this Saturday, April 14 at the Accra International Conference Center will see celebrities stepping out in style adorned with the finest clothing.
The theme for the 19th edition of the event is “Our Music Beyond Borders” – it is designed to inspire Ghanaian artistes and music industry players to aspire toward making strong influences globally with their music and artistry.
Rapper Sarkodie snagged the highest number of nominations at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards. He got nine nods including the ultimate – ‘Artiste of the Year.’
Gospel artiste, Joe Mettle followed closely with seven nominations. Stonebwoy, Ebony, Kidi and Shatta Wale got six nominations each.
Meanwhile On-Air personality, Berla Mundi and Actor John Dumelo have earlier been announced as the hosts of the main event of the VGMAs 2018 edition.
