Actress Moesha Boduong is unperturbed following a wave of criticisms on social media in response to an interview she granted CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in which she said Ghana’s economy is so bad to the extent that women are compelled to have sexual affairs with men just to survive.

The interview was part of CNN’s TV programme "Sex & Love Around the World".

Moesha told the host: “[In] Ghana, our economy is in such a way that you just need someone to take care of you.

“You can’t make enough money as a woman here because even if you want to get an apartment, in Ghana you pay two years in advance and I just started working, where will I get money to pay for an apartment for two years”.

A section of Ghanaians have condemned her over her comment which seems to suggest that Ghanaian women’s survival in life is hinged on sexual favours to men.

However in a post on her Facebook Wall on Thursday 12 April 2018, the actress posted a raunchy picture of herself accompanied with a text saying “Allow the Saints to Throw Stones At You ... gather them and Use it to Build Your house ... GoodMorning”.
