Ghanaian dancehall artiste and performer, Episode, has said Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are all masters in the game of music.
According to him, both dancehall artistes are giving their followers and Ghanaians what is expected of them as far as music is concerned, therefore, he cannot place one above the other.
Speaking on the Class Drive on Class 91.3FM hosted by Prince Benjamin, he said: “I will say that any dancehall artiste learned from people like Wale and Samini. I will say, Wale now has toned down his lyrics because he has given the people what they want but he is a very good lyricist that is what I can say about Wale.
“With Stonebwoy, I think he is still giving the people who he is. It doesn’t matter if the people need trash he is still giving them good music.
“So Wale can never be Stonebwoy and Stonebwoy can never be Wale so I just give respect to both of them.” He further revealed that he was the brain behind the Logo of the Shatta Movement.
“I even designed the Shatta Movement logo, like eight years now. I was a protégé of Wale and anybody who has followed dancehall back to that time will really know what I am talking about,” he said.
