Ghanaian actress and a television show host, Cecilia Konamah, known in Ghana’s showbiz industry as Abena Ghana, has revealed on the 'Time With Tracey' show that she wears a wedding ring because of Jesus and to prevent too many approaches from guys.
The actress and TV personality, Abena Ghana took her turn on the Hot Seat on Time with Tracey, an eponymous show by Kumawood actress and entrepreneur, Tracey Boakye.
According to Abena Ghana, wearing a wedding ring when she is not actually married, guaranteed her her peace of mind.
“I am not married”, she said following which Tracey Boakye asked her why she wears a wedding ring if she is not married.
“I am married to my daddy. I am married to Jesus. Jesus is the reason for my ring.”, she said.
“I am not married, just to be clear. I am single” she explained in Twi.
But Tracey Boakye, at her mischievous best, asked her guest to say the same thing English in case Abena Ghana was secretly engaged to a white man abroad who couldn’t understand Twi.
“I am saying I am single. I am not married to anyone”, the actress clarified in English as requested as her ring still remained on her hand.
