Contrary to reports that Fella Makafui’s wine shop located in East Legon has been shut down by her alleged boyfriend, manager of the actress says she is relocating.

In the late hours of Sunday, June 17, 2018, reports were rife that the actress had lost her ‘Fella Wine and Liqour’ shop owing to the fact that her boyfriend has called it quits due to her recent lifestyle and lack of attention for their relationship.

The reports also suggested that the actress has suddenly withdrawn attention for her alleged boyfriend whom she has dated for five years now.

However, speaking exclusively to GhanaWeb.com, Richmond Amofa-Sarpong shot down the rumours stressing that Fella Makafui’s alleged boyfriend has no hand in the development.

Mr. Amofa-Sarpong confirmed to GhanaWeb.com that Fella Makafui is relocating due to an increment in rent by the landlord but added that the new location will be communicated later. He also cited lack of space in the shop as a factor influencing her relocation.

He further rejected the Ghc400 to Ghc1,000 reported increase in the rent saying the price tag of the office space is not even in the local currency but dollars.

“Fella Makafui is only relocating her shop to a new office space which we would announce to the media. We decided to do this on a very low key because we can’t just announce it until that is done and we are fully operational again,” Amofa-Sarpong said.

Richmond urged the public to treat the stories with the contempt it deserves stating that the actress is focused and determined to make a living for herself and her family.

“We think those fake stories out there is a clear vindication of all the messages we have put across, that Fella is a very good girl and she is not part of those people that there are perceptions about them that they sleep with men to make their wealth.

This is a girl who has been with the guy for five years and that wine shop is a project the guy did for her for being with him for five good years. This is not a girl who went to sleep around to get stuff. It is a clear appreciation that the man has done,” he stressed.

Amofa-Sarpong also confirmed to GhanaWeb the social media influencer is venturing into merchandise of cosmetic products which is set to launch on June, 30 2018 under the name ‘Beauty by Fella Makafui’.

He also revealed that the collection will be the first official merchandise personally owned by the actress, adding that the products by Fella are designed to suit the Ghana’s harsh weather condition and will be a leading brand for most ladies especially in Ghana.
