Stonebwoy rocks SummerJam 2018

Afropop/ Dancehall singer, Stonebwoy, is Ghana’s sole rep at international Reggae Festival, Summerjam this year.

The three-day open-air event (July 6 -July 8) —key on the annual reggae calendar —sees the Ashaiman native share stages with icons as Gentleman, Ziggy Marley, Inner Circle, Tarrus Riley, Chris Martin, Jahmiel, Charly Black among others.

Yesterday witnessed the Ghanaian superstar (born Livingstone Etsey Satekla) thrill several thousands of music patrons gathered at the Fühlinger in Cologne, Germany.

Winner of several awards including VGMA Artist of the Year and BET Best International Act: Africa (both in 2015), Stonebwoy is CEO of the BMG imprint (home to budding singer Kevin Boy), and is franchise act for ZYLOFON Music.

His fourth album, Epistles of Mama, was released December 12, last year. A 24- track twin CD, the album has chalked palatial feats including peaking at Number 13 on the Billboard World Chart. It features an array of local and international heavyweights as Sean Paul, Chronixx, Sarkodie, Pressure, I Octane, Efya, Vanessa Bling, Joey B, and Kabaka Pyramid. It has also born impressive visuals for songs as Pepper Dem, Hold on Yuh, Bawasaaba, Don 45, and Most Original.
