She said on Tuesday, news reached her that the deceased and some of his friends closed from work and went to bathe in the lake. According to her, the report said instead of bathing, the deceased and the friends sat in an unsecured canoe to play, when to their surprise, the canoe let loose and took them to the deep waters. She said, since there was nobody to control the boat in the midst of the wind, it capsized and the son got drawn, while the others swam to safety. The body has since been buried after autopsy at the Begoro District Hospital.
