We are not sad he is gone – Charterhouse boss on George Quaye’s resignation

The move of experienced Events/PR specialist, George Quaye, to Menzgold Ghana came as a surprise to many, especially when it came with no prior notice or warning, with many still coming to terms of the fact that, he is no more with a Company he worked with for over a decade.

This portal, http://www.entertainmentgh.com has word that George Quaye, has tendered his resignation to Charterhouse, the firm that accorded him such critical acclaim and in responding to the situation, Head of the Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade, has stated that, they are not sad that he is gone. “We are not sad he is gone because he will always be part of the family,” she told Lexis Bill on Joy FM’S ‘Personality Profile’ show.

She also stated that George has been part of the firm for 12 years and they appreciate his contribution to the elevation of the firm and he is still part of the family. She hinted on the grooming and training that George, like others, have gone through at Charterhouse that prepped them to pursue other interests.

George, until his astonishing move to Menzgold Ghana, was the Head of Public Events and Communications.

He joined the firm on February 6, 2006, where he started as a copy writer. He moved on to become a Televisison Producer and understudied Events aficionado, Fred Darko, in blossoming to become a respected Events Producer.

He produced ‘Agoro’, ‘It Takes 2’ all the five seasons of the hit music reality show, ‘Stars of the Future’ and all six successful editions of the educational reality show, ‘The Challenge’.

He was in charge of production for the VGMAs, ‘Ghana Rocks’ and many other events. He is now the Communications Director for Menzgold Ghana, a gold dealership unit in Ghana, which also has branches in UK, Spain and with the Nigerian unit expected to open next weekend.
