Sensational Dancehall musician Samini has revealed what he did to survive when he was a child.

Speaking to DJ Adviser on Happy FM’s Ayekoo After Drive show about where he grew up, he said “ I grew up in Dansoman (DC), we were daddy’s boys but hard boys as well. I sold Koko and Koose all over Dansoman. Everybody knows me for selling Coco and Koose. I carried the things I sold on my head so they know and call me ‘Koo Emma’.”

“When I was 12 years, I sold Koko and Koose for money during vacations from school,” he said.

Samini started singing in the church choir at the age of 14 and became a professional musician later in life.

His debut studio album, Dankwasere, was released in 2004.
