Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy has appealed to his colleague Shatta Wale to stop discrediting other artists over accolades they receive.
It comes on the back of comments made by Shatta Wale that all the awards Stonebwoy has won in his career should have been his but because he wasn’t around.
Speaking on Accra-based Hitz FM, Stonebwoy said “I think we are condoning and pampering our brother Shatta Wale to keep on discrediting other artists which is not right because after working so hard to achieve everything in this career, it is not nice, it is not matured of another artist to come and sit and be blabbing and be discrediting” and undermine other peoples hard work because all artists who are nominated for an awards, deserve to win.
“I go beg am to stop discrediting other artists, if he is the same one preaching peace, if he the same one that is preaching ‘let’s come together’ then he should stop” he added.
