Barring any last minute changes, multi-talented and award winning broadcast journalist and musician, Kwame Adinkra affectionately referred to as Apotiti Mati is set to reunite with his former millionaire employer Dr. Kwaku Oteng of the Adonko bitters fame, sources close have confirmed to MyNewsGh.com.

He is to start work at Pure FM (95.7MHz), a Kumasi-based radio station and a subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN Ghana) which has Angel FM (96.1MHz) as its mother station in January 2019.

Credible information available to MyNewsGh.com suggests that the deal for the Apotiti man to join Pure FM was concluded as far back as June 2018 but had to lag so as to elapse his deal with the EIB group.

Our sources revealed that, Kwame earlier wanted to rejoin Angel FM so Kwame Tanko (KT), the Angel FM’s current morning show host could go to Pure FM instead but the latter declined the offer and insisted to be either sacked or allowed to continue as the station’s [Angel FM] morning show host.

An agreement was reached and Kwame Tanko maintained his position of Angel FM’s morning show host.

Kwame Adinkra who is to commence work at Pure FM in January 2019 is likely to be produced by Eunice Akoto Mansah Attakora-Manu, his former producer at Kumasi-based Abusua FM who was relieved off her duty by the EIB group during a staff retrenchment if she agrees to the deal.

The Apotiti man was a week ago suspended by the EIB network for failing to appear on Abusua Nkomo, a morning show he hosts on Kumasi-based Abusua FM on its outdoor programme and has since taken to promoting his new album titled “Kosopre”.

Detailed checks conducted by Mynewsgh.com revealed that the Apotiti Man failed to appear on the show because he had some of his salaries being in arrears for a while.

However, the remote cause of his suspension stemmed from the fact that he concluded a deal with Pure FM whilst he was serving as a staff of the EIB Media Network.

Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN Ghana) is owned by Millionaire Dr. Kwaku Oteng and has over eleven stations across Ghana as its subsidiaries.

Dr. Kwaku Oteng is also the owner of conglomerates of businesses including Adonko Bitters, Plus 2 pub, Angel TV, Angel Educational Complex, Angel Estate and Construction firm, Angel Cream and Soap and many others.
