Bose Ogulu, mother and business manager of Burna Boy says Nigeria and the rest of the world should brace themselves for “more madness” from his son who has been described by many as not “being normal.”
Mrs. Ogulu during her acceptance speech after receiving four awards on behalf of her son at the third edition of SoundCity MVP Awards Festival said, “They say he dey craze, he no normal… Thank you for 2018. 2019, expect more madness”
She was of the greatest conviction the son has more up his sleeve and is ready to entertain the world.
While mentioning that Burna Boy could not attend the event because he was out of the country, Mrs. Ogulu said the singer expresses his gratitude to all his fans and supporters for making 2018 an eventful year.
Burna Boy received four awards at the event which was held at Eko Hotel Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday.
Aside beating competition from Davido, Sarkodie, Yemi Alade, A.K.A, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Diamod Platnumz, Nasty C and Olamide to win the African Artiste of the Year, Burna Boy walked home with Best Male MVP, Song of the Year and Listener’s Choice awards courtesy his ‘Ye’ song.
