Nominations are not out yet for this years Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but American based Ghanaian musician Papa Staunch believes he has an award to win already
According to him, his hip hop tune dubbed “Atanfo Nye Nyame” is perfect and has to win at least, the best Hip Hop song of the year with no doubt
Papa Staunch believes the production of Atanfo Nye Nyame fits a well produced hip hop song, with credit going to Da Hammer and once nominated, his fans, both locally and internationally will vote to make sure he gets what he deserves
The song was released last year and so far so good, it’s cooking hot on our airwaves
With Papa Staunch believing to work and win at least best Hip Hop song of the year at the VGMA’s, other possible winners including Sarkodie, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, R2Bees, etc will have to put in extra effort from their end as well, if they want that category
