Teenage actress and singer Yaa Jackson has disclosed that she played more shows during last year’s Christmas season than self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale.
The ‘Tear Rubber’ hitmaker made this revelation in an interview on Peace FM’s entertainment review show.
According to Yaa Jackson, venturing into music has been very tough for her because of the numerous shows she played especially during the festive season in December last year.
She opined that her numerous shows indicate that she played more shows during last year’s Christmas season than Shatta Wale.
When quizzed the number of shows she played in December last year, the singer responded by saying that it was uncountable.
Recounting one of the experiences which made nearly give up on doing music was when she played a show in Kumasi and took a flight to Accra to perform another show and then back to Kumasi on a flight to do her second show there.
Yaa Jackson lives and dines with ‘Controversy’ and we wouldn’t be too surprised if this ‘jab’ thrown at Shatta Wale is not one of her ‘tactics’ to amass media hype.
Recall that Yaa Jackson dominated headlines on various portals when she disclosed in an interview with Delay on the Delay Show that she ‘ditched’ her member of parliament boyfriend when he couldn’t open a shop for her.
She further disclosed in the same interview that she wears clothes worth GH 1000 and that those who criticize her can’t afford such luxury.
