President of Brian Jones Outreach Ministries, Pastor Brian Amoateng has waded into the discussion about the over-dependence of prayer by a cross-section of Ghanaian Christians with some very interesting and mind-boggling views.

In a quick chit-chat with zionfelix.net ahead of the much-anticipated Kumasi edition of the highly rated International Youth Empowerment Summit (iYES), the UK-based Ghanaian pastor admitted fully that prayer is something that is very important in the lives of humans, especially people who describe themselves as Christians.

However, the Founder and Leader of London Prayer Center noted that there are times where common sense should be used instead of too much prayer. He made the example of a sick person who might likely need to get to the hospital for drugs in order to be well but will decide to remain at the prayer center and continue to pray.

The founder of the iYES added that even though God is the ultimate healer in the world, there are times he will use a doctor to grant healing mercies to the people who follow and worship him. Pastor Brian, therefore, urged Christians to try as much as possible to use their common sense sometimes and stop the overdependence on prayers.

The iYES foundation and the National Youth Authority are set to storm the Garden City of Ghana, Kumasi on the 15th – 17th March 2019 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Already, influential personalities like Emmanuel Asigri, Simon Ampofo, Chioma Akpotha, Pastor Eastwood Anaba, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, Jackie Appiah, Dr. Kwame Kyei, Kwame Adinkra, Dr. Kofi Abban, Mrs. Gyamfua Ababio, Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong, Dr. Paul Effah, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, and many others are billed to give patrons some very touching speeches.

The Kumasi edition of iYES will have as its special guest Baafuor Dr. Ossei Hyeamann Brantua VI (Otumfuor’s Manwerehene)
