If you listen to Ghana music, even casually, then dancehall acts Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy need no introduction because of their long-running feud.
Speaking in an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ show, the BHIM NATION boss, Stonebwoy, known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla, said he is not like other artistes who deliberately stage beefs with other artistes in the music industry just to create attention.
“I have never staged a beef with any artist in the industry, be it Shatta or any other person in the industry. All the beefs between I and Shatta Wale were real. I don’t fake beef to create attention for myself,” he stated.
He also asserted that being on the same record label – Zylofon Music- with Shatta Wale does not mean they can’t disagree. According to him, even siblings of the same blood fight among themselves sometimes.
Although the two are on the same record label -Zylofon Music-, Stonebwoy and his music rival, Shatta Wale have been at each other’s throat. They have called each other names and have even threatened to harm each other if they meet with.
However, Shatta Wale in an interview on Accra based radio station, declared that their rivalry is not ending anytime soon.
