A pastor of Grace Redeemed Chapel, Pastor Elias Adatura has launched a book titled “The wedding Garment”; a book that gives details on the importance of the wedding apparel.
The book highlights a moral tale Jesus divulged to his followers in the Gospel of Matthew and Luke; a tale where the Kingdom of heaven was likened to a banquet a king organized for his son.
According to him, per the reference made in Matthew and Luke, the wedding garment is the most important element without which no one would be allowed the banquet hall.
“The wedding garment is the most important element exclusive of which no one was allowed into the banquet. We likewise discovered that in the parable, certain key people and things were cited. Some of which are the king, the prince (the son of the king), though the wife or the bride was not brought up, we totally acknowledge that every marriage is between a man and a wife, (of course today we see unusual things, which is to say men marrying men and women marrying women, which is wrong according to the Christian standards). Some key things also mentioned are the wedding ceremony and banquet, the wedding garment, the place of torment among many others” The Author added
The author also spoke about who the Groom, the Father of the Groom, and the Bride were, adding the significance of what the wedding in the Book of Revelation, where the banquet will be, their significance, as well as where the place of torment will be.
The 161 page book is currently available in some selected book shops across the country
