Actress Soraya Mensah on Sunday held the ‘Zesuza Street Feast’, a charity event to feed over 500 underprivileged children in the streets of Accra.

The ceremony which was part of her efforts to give back to society was held at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra from 12 noon to 4 o'clock pm on Sunday.

It attracted a large number of children who were treated to eat variety of foods and enjoyed other side attractions such as bouncy castle, dance performances, face painting and many other activities.

Present were also some showbiz personalities including Nadia Buari and Klint Da Drunk among others who engaged with the children in various ways. Klint came all the way from Nigeria to be part of the charity event. He displayed some amazing dance steps to entertain the kids at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Soraya Mensah indicated that she was motivated to put smiles on the faces of the kids because she loves them.

“My reason for doing this is just because I love kids and also because I am into foods and I said why not, let me just share with these children because God has been a blessing to me from the beginning of this year,” she stated.

She was also appreciative of all who supported her to make event successful.

Soraya is one of Ghana’s beautiful actresses who broke onto the scene in the early 2000s. However, she has been off the screens after she got married in 2016. She is currently managing her own business as the CEO of Zesuza Catering Services & Exceed Business Consult. She has now launched a charity wing with the organisation of Zesuza Street Feast.
