Winner of the 2019 TV3’s Talented Kidz reality show, Nakeeyat Sam Dramani has thrown a challenge to organizers of the show to consider having an adult version of the show, what she referred to as “Talented Adults”.
The 7-year-old poet and child advocate made the plea to the judges of the show – Paulina Oduro and Uncle Benedict – while showing appreciation to Ghanaians, TV3 and those who supported her to emerge victorious.
“Uncle Benedict and Aunty Paulina, I want you to do talented adults”, she requested.
Nakeeyat’s victory at the 10th edition of the show did not exactly come as a surprise to many who have followed her performance on the show, some of which have often raised questions about her age, as she appeared to sound more intelligent than the 7-year-old that she is.
Her performance on Sunday evening got judge Benedict remarking “Nakeeyat, you get me wondering if you’re indeed 7 years”, as she distinguished herself among her peers to win the ultimate prize.
For the judge, what makes the little Naykeeyat stands out in the contest has been the content of her poetry, explaining it has always been educative and touched on important national issues.
The little girl has addressed issues of corruption, streetism, child rights among other issues while on the show, and these according to judge Benedict were done in depth.

On her part, Judge Paulina observed the kid has since day one demonstrated traits of a winner, emphasizing she has been intelligent, eloquent and fluent in her delivery and that, she said gave her an urge over her peers.
The Pank Baby College pupil takes home a cash prize of 10,000 cedis, a 15,000-cedi educational fund, an all-expense paid trip to the United Kingdom, and souvenirs from sponsors.
Meanwhile, 10-year old saxophonist, Phronesis Nene Kwadwo Sackitey, won the second place, and received a cash prize of 8,000 cedis, a 10,000-cedi educational fund and souvenirs from sponsors.
Singer Prince Okyere came third. He receives 6, 000-cedi cash prize, 8,000 cedis educational fund as well as souvenirs from sponsors.
Nakeeyat succeeds Samuel Owusu as the reigning Talented Kid.
