Highlife can't die - Akosua Agyapong

Veteran musician Akosua Agyapong says highlife shouldn’t be allowed to die as it still has a lot to offer.

Akosua Agyapong who is impressed with the current crop of highlife artistes said they are doing their best to keep the genre going.

She was pleased that these young acts have been able to raise the standard from where they left off, adding richer blend in keeping highlife trendy.

She also urged Highlife musicians to write good songs.

Akosua Agyapong who was speaking on ‘E with Becks’ said “here are few things that we are realizing that they are still bringing back, so highlife needs to live and not die” she stated.
