Make-up is the icing on fashion at 'Glitz Africa Fashion Week' 2019

Make-up created a theme and story around fashion when Maybelline partnered with Glitz Africa Fashion Week (GAFW) 2019, Ghana’s biggest annual fashion event over the past weekend.

The event which is in its seventh edition brought together all the top celebrity, fashion and lifestyle industry players and fashion enthusiasts to interact in a fun-packed week at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.

Speaking to fashion reporters before the Maybelline runway show during the event, Aretha Yorke Sabeng, Business Manager at L'Oréal West Africa said fashion is their platform. They partner with fashion events to show people the extent to which make-up can create a story, express ideas and bring them to life.

She also went on to share that the brand was doing it’s part to help the economy by creating jobs and helping people to realize their dreams.
