Ghanaian songstress, Fantana has taken a dig at dancehall artiste, Epixode, for speaking unpleasantly about her music.

The Rufftown Records signee said even though, she is new on the music scene, her accomplishments in four months are far greater than what the “Avatar” singer has done in his 4-year career.

In an Instagram story sighted by www.ghanaweb.com, the “So what” singer questioned Epixode why he would fault find her song when he has never had a hit song in his livelihood.

She said, “Epixode, So what is a weak song? But where is your hit song? What you have been trying to do in 4years, I have done in 4 months!

Fantana’s reactions were elicited by an interview Epixode granted Zylofon FM that didn’t go down well with her.

Epixode told Sammy Flex on October 22 that, “Truth be told, I don’t know who the artist is. I had to find out yesterday when I was listening to you. I don’t know Fantana,”.

Fantana, over the weekend, enjoyed the biting of Ghanaians when she exposed her sanitary pad on stage while performing at Shatta Wale’s Reign Concert and the ‘Wonder Boy’ album launch and Obrafour’s Taifa concert without giving a hoot.

Videos of her performance went viral due to the gaffe.

In a press statement on Monday, she said, “I was surprised to see some bloggers and a section of the media high light and body shame me because I refused to let my menses stop me from performing”.

“Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go-ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating”.

“I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women,” she added.

Many industry players have condemned her actions and have rebuked her to check her dressing and also work on her stage delivery.
