Ghanaian afro-pop artiste Luta, has advised that forums be held to educate artistes on how things work in the music industry.
In a discussion with Foster Romanus on the Late Nite Celebrity Show, he mentioned that there are a lot of people in the music industry who do not know their way around things. He went on to list some things that demand that the Musicians Union of Ghana hold forums to educate on.
‘’Firstly, how to register to become an artiste, how to make revenue off your music, the places to put your songs so people can get them, royalties, and a lot more so I think a few forums should be held to teach these artistes some of the things they can do to improve their music skills’’.
According to him, the main responsibility of MUSIGA is to bring all artistes together and hold forums to teach them how to improve their brand, as well as put out platforms to showcase the talent of the youth but he hasn’t seen any of these happen since he joined MUSIGA.
