Nana Aba Anamoah has confirmed rumours that she would so leave the media to teach.
According to her, she wants to give back to the society and the only way she knows how is to impart knowledge and groom people.
She said she is tired of the media and living her life for people.
“I have actually come close to leaving the media a couple of times but I will because I want to teach”, she said on the KSM show.
“I want to teach. I want to get a PHD, I want to teach. That’s what I want to retire to. I don’t want to do the media forever. I’m actually tired of the media. I need my life” she added.
She made reference to a news headline about herself that was about her eating banku.
“I feel that I’ve lived my life for people for too long. Everything I do is news.”
“I just think that I need to give back and the only way that I know is to teach. It’s to impart knowledge and I enjoy doing that. I enjoy grooming people”
For someone who is known to have mentored quite a number of known, media persons, she complained that mentoring people is something that is not encouraged enough.
