Cardi B lands in Nigeria
Cardi B has landed in Nigeria ahead of her Livespot X Festival show slated for today, December 7 in Lagos.
The rapper is expected to continue the second leg of the concert in Accra on Sunday, 8th December at the Accra sports stadium and she will be joined by some top Ghanaian acts like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Medikal, Becca among others to thrill their fans.
Spending her first day in Nigeria, the Grammy award-winning rapper sent out a message from her hotel room saying that “ I want to go to the f**king hood, I wanna see like the real Nigeria I don’t wanna eat hotel food I want like real Nigerian food, all that fish all that jollof rice”.
A clip of her making the request, in an Instastory fast went viral on social media, sparking the Jollof war between the two West African countries, with Ghanaians warning her not to try Nigerian Jollof but have some patience to come and enjoy Ghana Jollof instead.
In a post seen pulse.com.gh, one Instagram user with the handle @ choco_bb68 wrote “She’s not serious she wants to try Nigeria big big rice or eforiro. she go soon get running stomach”
