In his latest episode of Jesus Today, actor Mmebusem who has been playing the role of Jesus in the skit prophesied unto Qwaachi, a musician eager for a hit song, that his wish would come to pass but would have to show appreciation with bread and chicken wings afterwards.
Clad in a yellow t-shirt with a pair of blue jeans, Qwaachi, seated under a tree soliloquizing, encountered his ‘savior’ as Mmebusem stopped to ask what could be eating him up.
“My family has rejected the lady I love and wish to marry on grounds that she has no wealth; she is disrespectful, arrogant,” said Qwaachi, to which Mmebusem replied, “And so what?”
“She is with me because of my wealth, she is a spindrift. She doesn’t deserve me,” continued Qwaachi.
But after a brief interaction, Mmebusem encouraged the singer to compose a song with his worries.
“You’re gifted with music. That’s your talent. It’s evident in how you spoke,” said Mmebusem.
Use what just happened between us to compose a song. It will trend… Release the song on January 8, 2020. It’s a prophecy. It shall be well with you. But don’t forget my reward when the song becomes a hit, else I will chase you like I chased Medikal. All I want is bread and chicken wings.”
Titling the song ‘Fre No’, Qwaachi is set to release the record on January 8, 2020. It features Kofi Mole as well as Fameye.
