Ekow Smith-Asante
Actor Ecow Smith-Asante has said actors are now venturing into politics, preaching and catering (food joints) because things are not going on well in the movie industry.
He explained that the likes of John Dumelo (politics), Majid Michel (preaching) and others are venturing into other businesses because there is no support in the movie industry.
In a related development, the actor alleged that some of his colleagues have even resorted to the use of charm 'juju' in order to obtain several roles in movies.
"Our elders failed us, we came in and we have failed ourselves, failed the people behind us too, unfortunately that's the truth because we are still petty and we are killing ourselves. some of them are even using 'juju'
because of small small roles."
