Ghanaian actor who doubles as a fashion designer, Elikem Kumordzie has retracted his apology to veteran actor Kofi Adjorlolo after a heated exchange on a live radio program.
Elikem Kumordzie rendered an apology to Mr Adjorlolo for criticizing his recent outburst about movie producers’ failure to pay him for his work.
But in a clash on a live radio interaction with the veteran actor, Elikem unhesitantly retracted his apology with a reason that, Mr Adjorlolo had rejected his apology and asked him to rather render an unqualified apology to his late father instead.
Mr Adjorlolo who looked visibly pained by the stance of Elikem Kumordzie said; “...you know I read something on the net that they said you have to apologise to me and you know what I said? I said go and apologise to Famous, your father Famous Kumordzie on his graveside because I served him and he loved me...so when they told me about you, I said why, how? I didn’t want to talk...”
In the heat of the moment, Elikem Kumordzie who was also unimpressed about Kofi Adjorlolo’s response angrily retorted; “I apologized because everyone was making this about you but I didn’t say anything against you. It’s not fair that you were interviewed and you say what you want to say and I have said mine and you want me to apologise to my father in the grave. I have retrieved my apology now from you... ”
The two clashed on February 8, 2020, in the studios of Peace FM together with a host of other entertainment industry players.
