Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has fired shots at the Ghanaian media for ignoring praises she received from Conan O'Brien.
The American comedian and TV host on his recent show described the actress and the host of “McBrown’s Kitchen” as a ‘force of nature, powerful, commanding and charismatic’.
“She is a force of nature. And I have worked with people that are powerful personalities in cyclones and energy, and commanding,” he stated. “And I don’t know anybody who can hold the hand of that woman. She was fantastic and she is very charismatic.”
He added that: “And everywhere you go in Accra, there’s a giant billboard of her.”
Reacting to this, Nana Ama has said the media has turned a blind eye to the words of the comedian.
“Why are THEY not talking about this?” she said in an Instagram post.
Her statement comes after social media criticised her for deep kissing her daughter Baby Maxin on her birthday – an incident the media reported.
She responded to that video by saying she got pregnant and gave birth to her baby – implying that she has the right to kiss her.
