Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas has urged Ghanaians to continue protecting themselves against the deadly Coronavirus even in the wake of the lifting of the partial lockdown by the government.
Ghana has so far recorded 1,042 cases of Coronavirus, 9 deaths and 99 recoveries.
President Akufo-Addo lifted the partial lockdown imposed on some parts of the country to avoid further spread of the deadly virus.
In a Facebook post on Monday, the actress advised Ghanaians not to allow the lifting of the partial lockdown to fool them.
She urged Ghanaians to continue to adhere to safety protocols.
She wrote: “I will say this again: self-discipline, self-discipline and vigilance. Everyone is not as sensible as you, so protect yourself! Don’t let the freedom fool you. Wear a mask, still wash your hands and wash your brains, too.”
