Counselor Frank Adofoli has cautioned men of God to remain in their calling and refrain from taking undue advantage of vulnerable people who come to them for counseling and help.
According to him, Men of God are like shepherds who are supposed to lead the flock and protect them from harm, but the opposite is what is happening in today’s society.
He said because people trust these Men of God completely, they open up to them in a way that they do not open up to other people, and it is unfortunate when they turn around to hurt the same people who look up to them.
He said people who turn the word of God upside down and abuse the trust people have in them for their own benefit do not understand their calling.
“People don’t know their calling, their purpose and how to remain in their calling, there are some things that you don’t go beyond, the person coming to you with their problems, it means there is something that is wrong with them and they are vulnerable, so you are coming to give them protection, if you cannot give them the protection they seek let them be alone,” he said.
Counselor Frank Adofoli was a guest on the maiden Open Forum on GhanaWeb TV’s love and relationship programme Moans and Cuddles.
