Things We Do for Love's Dede now based in London

Many folks especially the youth crossed paths with her on the very popular Ghanaian TV series, Things We Do For Love, which was aired in the early 2000’s on GTV but like a magician, Dede vanished from mainstream media whiles colleagues Majid Michel, Jackie Appiah & Adjetey Annan blossomed and has since become regular staples in the entertainment diet of fans.

The thirty 30 minute weekly TV series, directed by Ivan Quashigah, centered on the youth and their sexual lives. Interesting characters like Pusher, Max, Killer, Shaker, BB and High Priest helped to elevate the series to a must-watch status.


Dede real name Alice Schreyer is now based in London, the lady with a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother we gather studied Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Ghana in 2003, after her degree programme at the University, she worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA) in the Nutrition and Food Science Department before relocating to the United Kingdom to pursue a Master’s Degree in Education, Leadership and Management at the Roehampton University. The one-time pretty actress then enrolled at the Kingston University. She works and dwells in London but visits Ghana as and when the need arises.
