Folks, the fight between A plus and John Dumelo seems hypocritical to me and I beg to differ from A plus’ position on the graduate bread man’s case. It seems to me that Ghanaian universities are failing Ghanaians on their mandate to the people.
Ghanaian universities are training job seekers instead of job creators and that should be a source of worry to every Ghanaian. Everybody know that Ghanaian educational institutions are not self-fund and depend on government support. We also know that not all Ghanaians who have qualified to be in our schools get the opportunity to do so.
Many years about 45% of children who graduated from one level of our school system are left behind. So, if you had the opportunity to go to school and have graduated from a premium university like KNUST you have no business to be on our streets selling bread where you could have spent that time to do something that will earn you the resources to employ about ten people your opportunity has denied them the opportunity also to earn living.
That guy on the street tell us how our educational system has failed us and we should stop giving excuses and call on our universities to stop turning out job seekers and produce job creators that the country need now. I am just keeping it real.
